I'm a super creative person.
When I'm not taking photos, I'm sewing or drawing or making a huge mess in the kitchen.
That little guy above was made by me. The first 'plushie' I ever made actually!
While I do tend to focus my time on photography,
I adore sewing, especially in Winter.
I think my plushie total has now exceeded thirty something.
Not including the ones I've given away.
My "office" and I say it in inverted commas because it's not really an office,
it's more of a storage space....
It's overrun by creatures like this
as well as mountains of boxes filled with products I'm yet to review
and the occaisonal yeti...
So now, you know a little bit more about me
Tell me a little bit more about yourself!
OMG! They're soooo cute! You're seriously super-talented! I love all of them.. I don't know which one to pick as a favourite over the rest.
ReplyDeleteI used to do a lot of sewing, embroidery and crocheting as well - not anymore. If I'm not doing photography, I'm cooking. But a few days ago I made a little beaded tray for a friend. It turned out pretty good for a first time - I have a not-so-good photo of it under my "A gift for a friend" (or something similar sounding) post on my blog.
Great work, Kristy! Let me know if you're ever giving one of your plushies away; I'll come wait outside your door! ;-)
..Toni
Thanks Toni! :)
ReplyDeleteI've tried embroidery and crocheting before and couldn't quite get it. My mum used to be a super crocheter when she was younger, but she's too fast to teach me :P
Hi Kristy, how creative you are! Your plushies are so cute! I can imagine they stay up all night making mischief in your "office" while you're sleeping ;) hehe
ReplyDeleteThankyou :)
ReplyDeleteI don't doubt that for a second :P
Wow - your plushies are so super cute! The yeti is so adorable - very huggable! I personally suck at textiles stuff but love cute things like these critters so much I have a few in my car - yes, I'm one of "those people"..
ReplyDeleteHaha thankyou! I epically fail at using a sewing machine, so they're all hand sewn :)
ReplyDeleteYour plushies are super cute:) and u got so much patience sewing them by hand and that shows you got the passion and love on things you do.....am into cooking and starting to get interested in photography (still saving for my first dslr). My cross stitching stuff are stash away at the moment, hehehehe discovered food blogging. I'm super excited at the moment as I just paid for my kitchenaid mixer...will arrive in a week's time, next adventure will be baking:)
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting! I love to bake, i'm really into finding healthy alternatives, especially as I often bake for my younger cousins and family and I want them to eat as healthy as possible :)
